Solomon Adesanya
Rep. Adesanya is a dedicated husband, father, community advocate, business owner, and proud Democrat.
Rep. Solomon Adesanya won his 2022 primary race for the Georgia House of Representatives in the 43rd district, which includes Marietta, with 57% of the vote. He subsequently won the general election with 56% of the vote. In 2024, he is running unopposed.
As a second-generation American, he frequently reflects on his father’s ideals of hope and the belief in the American Dream. His father emigrated from Nigeria in 1970 to study Chemistry at the University of Illinois in Springfield.
A graduate of Georgia State University and an entrepreneur, Rep. Adesanya owns Kale Me Crazy restaurants in Smyrna and Marietta. He is committed to improving his community and believes that by providing opportunities to every Georgian, the state becomes stronger and the future more secure. As a State Representative, he remains dedicated to fighting for his community, driven by the conviction that everyone deserves the chance to achieve the American Dream.
Rep. Adesanya is married to Ashleigh, and they are raising their wonderful daughters, Grace, Joi, and Noelle.
